Girl's rock
The elevation and shape of the insignificant plateau hill Dievčenská skala rises south of the town Rožňava on the northern edge of the Silická plateau. Geomorphologically, it belongs to the area Slovak Ore Mountains and its mountain unit Slovenský kras (sub-unit - Silická planina).
It lies at an altitude of 660 metres and on its northern slope there is a small viewing platform with a precipitous slope and a small almost terraced meadow.
The rock face of the rock platform drops almost perpendicularly to the Rožňava Basin.
The rocky edge of Dievčenská skala offers a beautiful panoramic view not only of the entire Rožňava Basin.
How to get to the Girl's Rock
There is a branch to the Girl's Rock from the green tourist sign that connects the village of Hrušov with the village of Plešivec.
The total time from Hrušov to the rock is approximately 2:40 h (2:25 h back).
