Conditions for visiting the Krásnohorská Cave
We only take visitors to the cave who do not show any symptoms of respiratory illness. Children from 8 to 15 years of age are taken to the cave only when accompanied by their parents. Overweight people and people with reduced mobility should consider visiting the cave. The passage through the cave is quite difficult and not everyone can manage it.
Visitors come to Pension Jozefina in Krásnohorská Dlhej Lúka, where the cave office is. When you arrive in the village, orient yourself according to the direction signs. Do not follow the trail to the cave. We will move to the cave together after the formalities have been completed.
The temperature in the cave is 9°C, dress accordingly. It is very likely that you will get a bit muddy in the cave. Therefore, bring own clothesthat can get muddy. Long work trousers and a warm jacket are best, which you put on before entering the cave over the clothes you came in. For hygiene reasons, we will only lend overalls in case of emergency. for a fee of 2 EUR. Sturdy shoes with soft, non-slip soles are suitable. The best are waterproof sneakers with a rugged soft tread. To the cave we move on foot along the nature trail (1300 m). In case of bad weather, take an umbrella or a raincoat.
