Sentinel Experience Centre

The SENTINEL Experience Centre was created by the reconstruction of the Mining Museum in Rožňava in 2015-2017. It includes the following objects: the Exposition of Mining and Metallurgy of Gemer, Steam Time in the Mining Museum, Mining Workplaces, Exposition of Nature of the Slovak Karst and Adjacent Areas and the courtyard where mining machinery and the mining railway are located. It has been partially open to the public since the Night of Museums and Galleries 2017.

Opening hours and entrance fees

Tuesday - Saturday

9:00 – 12:00  13:00 – 17:00

entries every hour (last entry at 16:00)

Adults / Students, pupils, pensioners, disabled, war veterans, holders of diamond or gold Jansky plaque*

The whole area - 10 € / 5 €

Exposition of the nature of the Slovak Karst and adjacent areas - 3 € / 2 €

Family ticket (2 adults + 2 children) for the whole area - 20 €
